Specially designed facilities:

BDF RMS Military Hospital Medical Library

The Medical library was established in 1989 with a small room contains few books and journals whereas now it is equipped with two libraries, one located in Club 360 and the other at the second floor of Main Hospital Building. 

Working Hours

• Second Floor library: 7 am – 9 pm (Sunday – Thursday).
• Medical Library in Club 360: 7am-2pm (Sunday – Thursday).

Medical Library Services

• Medical Books: 

           Latest Medical Books having multiple specialties from various leading publishers.

• Medical Database: 

           Institutional subscription access to full text Medical databases and e-books through hospital network available 24 hours/day. RMS staff get remote access by registering to the database.

• Internet:

1. Wi-Fi facility available
2. Internet Access with color printer 

• Daily News Paper:

           Leading Daily Newspapers in Arabic and English are available for reading in the Library Hall.

• Photocopy:

           Payable Photocopy service is available

• Document Supply:

           Article request from Medical Libraries at GCC countries can be searched and provided by free of charge.
