Accreditations

The Royal Medical Services was re-accredited by the Australian Council for Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI ) for the fourth consecutive.

BDF-RMS Bariatric and Metabolic Centre was recognized as the first centre in the Middle East to be accredited as a Centre of Excellence by two different organizations: the European Accreditation Council for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery (IFSO) and the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC). The Director of the Royal Medical Services became the first bariatric surgeon in the Middle East to be accredited by two different organizations (IFSO and SRC).

The Laboratory department in BDF-RMS was accredited by the ISO 15189 Medical Laboratory, making it the first and only Medical Laboratory in Bahrain to receive this certificate.

The Training and Development Centre at BDF-RMS received distinction certificate with excellence and has been recognized and accredited as an advanced training and development centre in the MENA region by the American Heart Association. This is a great achievement for the BDF-RMS as they receive this distinctive achievement 2 years in a row.

Royal Medical Services received the Accreditation Canada certification in Trauma.

Royal Medical Services is the first public hospital in the Kingdom of Bahrain to receive this 98% certificate of credit from the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA)
