Current Procedural Terminology (CPT)

As a part of continual improvement and standardizing Medical Information System, BDF Royal Medical Services has implemented CPT Coding for its patient service protocols from April 2014 which is apart from the implementation of ICD -10 coding system for its Diagnostic Services.  Implementation of CPT helps BDFRMS to unify its service protocols with the international standards and it helps the patients and Insurance companies to communicate globally with the unified standards. BDFRMS acquired most upgraded version of CPT 2014 from American Medical Association (AMA) which is first in its kind in the region.

The Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code set is a medical code set maintained by the American Medical Association through the CPT Editorial Panel. The CPT code set (copyright protected by the AMA) describes medical, surgical, and diagnostic services and is designed to communicate uniform information about medical services and procedures among physicians, coders, patients, accreditation organizations, and payers for administrative, financial, and analytic purposes.
