Bahrain Defence Force Royal Medical Services - Hospital's Health System is the region's premier healthcare delivery system, serving patients a throughout Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Bahrain Defence Force – Royal Medical Services (BDF-RMS) commenced in 1968 as a small clinic. In 1979 the BDF-RMS grew from a small operation into a 120 bed hospital. We have since continuously grown and expanded our services, becoming the second largest hospital in Bahrain with 463 beds to date. While valuing its rich history, the BDF-RMS continuously aims to improve and uphold its commitment to offer the highest quality of healthcare in the most efficient manner.

The two(2) major components of the BDF-RMS include: The Military Hospital and the Field Medical Battalion.
